Checkout
Library materials are checked in and out at the Access Services desk. A valid Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ ID or Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ-issued library card is required to borrow materials.

- Holds
A hold allows most circulating items to be held at the Access Services desk but does not alter the due date if the item is checked out. Students, faculty, and staff can put a hold on most circulating items. - Missing Book Search Request

Lost something? Items are kept at the Access Services desk until the end of the day then turned over to the police. IDs are kept for one week and then turned over to the ID center in the Mike Loya Building. - Checkout Policies

- Library Group Study Rooms
Study rooms are available on floors 1 - 4. Rooms may not be reserved; they are available for checkout on a first-come basis and circulate for three (3) hours. Groups of three or more will be given preference over a single individual during the hours of 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Thursday. Keys to study rooms are available for check-out at the Access Services Desk.

- Individual study carrels are available first-come-first-serve on the 5th floor.
- Technology Support Study Rooms
Study Rooms are available on the 3rd floor in Technology Support, room 300. These study rooms are private, accessible spaces available to students and include a large monitor and table, for groups of at least three people.

- Located on the first floor of the Library.
- Book a room by scanning the QR code on the hub or at the CAPS website
- The keys are available at the Access Services desk on the 2nd floor.

Interlibrary Loan
Through the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) system, the Library can borrow materials it doesn't own or have access to from other institutions throughout the country. This service is available free of charge to Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ faculty, staff, and students.

Instruction
- for your group, class, or personal research - including information literacy instruction and films from Kanopy and Swank Digital Campus. The same form can request new Library materials in batch (upload a resource list or syllabus) or item-by-item.
- Library/information literacy instruction is normally provided to classes during our regular Research & Instruction operating hours ; however, faculty and instructors can request sessions outside of these hours by coordinating with their librarian.
