Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ has once again earned R1 status in the latest Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education, confirming the University’s position among top research universities nationwide. R1 is the highest research classification a university can attain.

Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ Wind Symphony Joins Grammy-Winning Group

The Wind Symphony will be joined by Grammy Award-winning quintet Imani Winds and special guest, Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ faculty member Zuill Bailey. The performance is FREE for students, faculty and staff, $5 for adults and $3 for non-Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ students and military.

The Borderland Digital Humanities Center is hosting a three-part workshop series on planning digital archive collections. This first session will focus on metadata fundamentals and standards and is perfect for faculty and graduate students.

Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ choirs, including Cantare, Singing Miners, Concert Chorale and Chamber Singers, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 4 at the First Baptist Church of El Paso, located at 805 Montana Ave.
